全球播出！为和平而来，中国军人炼火淬金，“中国蓝盔”使命必达
为展现中国军队服务构建人类命运共同体作出的巨大贡献，展示维和官兵的良好形象和青春风采，湖南广播电视台新闻中心推出了5集军事题材新闻专题片《为和平而来》，讲述维和官兵的故事。
节目将于9月8日-12日每天18:00在湖南卫视首播，芒果TV同步播出，并于美东时间9月8日-9月12日18:30、欧洲伦敦时间9月9日-9月13日19:00、非洲开普敦时间9月9日-9月13日20:00登陆湖南国际频道面向全球230个国家和地区播出，每集时长29分钟。
维和战场是展现维护和平的中国力量的重要平台，也是检验中国军人本领的“试金石”。《为和平而来》第二集，我们将带您进入黎巴嫩、以色列临时停火线“蓝线”雷区，中国赴黎巴嫩维和多功能工兵分队在这里扫雷作业，变生命禁区为和平净土。在非洲腹地的刚果（金），中国维和工兵分队在愈演愈烈的埃博拉疫情威胁下，抢修着一条至关重要的“生命通道”。面对生死考验，克服艰难险阻，中国军人炼火淬金，“中国蓝盔”使命必达。
The peacekeeping battleground is an important platform for demonstrating China’s commitments to maintain world peace, and it is also a “touchstone” for testing the capabilities of the Chinese soldiers. In Episode II of We are Here for Peace, we will take you into the minefields along the “Blue Line”, the temporary ceasefire line between Lebanon and Israel, where the Chinese Peacekeeping Multifunctional Engineering Company to Lebanon are clearing the landmines, turning the life restricted zone into a purified peaceful land. In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the hinterland of Africa, the Chinese Peacekeeping Engineering Company is rushing to repair a vital life line under the threat of the escalating Ebola epidemic. Faced with the test of life and death, and overcoming difficulties and obstacles, Chinese peacekeepers are being hardened and tempered, and the missions of the “Chinese Blue Helmets” must be accomplished.
上世纪七十年代以来，持续内战和教派争端，让拥有三千多年灿烂文明的黎巴嫩成为“中东火药桶”。
Since the 1970s, continuous civil wars and sectarian disputes have turned Lebanon, a country that enjoys a splendid civilization for more than three thousand years, into a Middle East powder keg.
这里是黎巴嫩与以色列临时停火线“蓝线”，埋有数十万枚地雷的“死亡地带”，几十年来已造成数千人因雷致死致残。2006年，中国派出维和工兵分队赴黎巴嫩执行维和任务。目前，中国第18批赴黎巴嫩多功能工兵执行着近年来最大规模的扫雷任务。
This is the “Blue Line”, the temporary ceasefire line between Lebanon and Israel, the “death zone” where hundreds of thousands of landmines are buried, and thousands of people were killed and maimed by mines in decades. In 2006, China sent a Peacekeeping Engineering Company to Lebanon to perform peacekeeping missions. At present, the 18th batch of Chinese Multifunctional Engineering Company is carrying out the largest scale mine clearance mission in recent years.
截至2019年8月，中国赴黎巴嫩维和部队已累计完成199万平方米疑似雷区、爆炸物散落区和1.4万米巡逻道路探查，发现和排除地雷及各类未爆物1.2万余枚，“中国式扫雷”成为联合国驻黎巴嫩临时部队安全高效作业的代名词。在这片危机四伏的土地上，中国维和军人一次次深入生命禁区，一次次在刀尖上闪转跳跃，他们每排除一寸危险，这里就多一寸和平的净土。
As of August 2019, Chinese Peacekeepers in Lebanon have cleared a total of 1.99 million square meters of suspected minefields, areas scattered with explosives, and 14,000-meter patrol roads, and discovered and cleared more than 12,000 mines and various UXOs. Chinese-style mine clearance has become synonymous with the safe and efficient operations of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon. In this perilous land, the Chinese peacekeepers go deep into the life restricted zone time and time again, dodging and jumping on the tip of the knife again and again. On each inch of danger they eliminated, there will be an extra inch of pure and peaceful land here.
刚果（金）与卢旺达交界的基伍湖西侧，坐落着中国维和部队在刚果（金）的大本营，这里三面环湖，绿树成荫，被称作“中国半岛”。
On the west side of Lake Kivu, on the border between the Democratic Republic of Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, locates the HQ of Chinese Engineering Company to Congo (DRC). It is surrounded by the Lake on three sides and lined with trees. It is called the “Chinese Peninsula”.
2018年8月，埃博拉疫情在刚果（金）东北部爆发，一个月后，中国第22批赴刚果(金)维和部队进驻距离疫情最近的省份南基伍省。一年来，埃博拉病毒一路肆虐向南，已造成近3000例死亡病例、致死率在50%以上，当地人心惶惶，国际社会强烈关注。就在今天早上，这个超级病毒正式出现在了中国维和部队所在驻地布卡武市。
In August 2018, the Ebola epidemic broke out in the northeastern part of DRC. One month later, the 22nd Chinese Peacekeeping Forces to the DRC began to be stationed in South Kivu, the province closest to the outbreak. Over the past year, the Ebola virus has raged all the way to the south, causing nearly 3,000 deaths, with a fatality rate of over 50%. The local people are panicking and the international community is paying close attention. Just this morning, this super virus formally appeared in Bukavu, where the Chinese peacekeepers are based.
距离换防回国只有最后15天了，刘力颖要和战友们赶在回国前，与埃博拉病毒赛跑，抢通这条5公里的“生命通道”。
It’s only the last 15 days to before the rotation back to China. Liu Liying and his comrades will race against the Ebola to accomplish the 5-kilometer “channel of life” virus before returning to China.
维和官兵们意识到，这条路修到最后，其实是在修一条民心相通的“心路”。
The peacekeeping officers and soldiers realize that eventually in fact, this road to be built is going to be actually a “path of the mind” that will win the hearts of the people.
2019年8月8日，联合国驻刚果（金）稳定特派团在布卡武市“中国半岛”营区举行授勋仪式，为中国第22批赴刚果（金）维和部队218名官兵授予“和平荣誉勋章”。
On August 8, 2019, MONUSCO held an Medal Award Ceremony in the Chinese Peninsula camp in Bukavu, and awarded the Peace Medals of Honor to the 218 officers and soldiers of the 22nd batch of the Chinese Peacekeepers to the DRC.
攻坚克难，炼火淬金；维护和平，使命必达。在一年任务期里，第22批赴刚果（金）维和工兵分队完成了36项工程勘察和40多项工程施工任务。中国维和军人以精湛的技术、过硬的作风、严明的纪律、友善的举止，赢得联合国驻刚果（金）稳定特派团、友军、当地政府和群众的广泛好评。
Overcoming difficulties, refining and quenching gold; maintaining peace, the mission must be accomplished. During the one-year tour of duty, the 22nd batch of Peacekeeping Engineering Unit to the DRC completed 36 engineering surveys and more than 40 engineering construction tasks. Chinese peacekeepers have won wide acclaim from the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the DRC, friendly forces, the local governments and the masses with their superb skills, excellent style, strict discipline, and friendly behavior.
